Can't turn content advisor off?

I have already gone in and disabled content advisor by doing a trial
run from preventing my kids from getting on adult sites.

Disabled it, now even though it is off, I cannot access settings without
having to type in password every time and it will not accept no password
as the change to.

Think there's a registry tweak that gets rid of the password, from memory.
A quick search on Google would probably reveal it.
