Can't start windows xp after download

I downloaded spyhunter software and when complete install
asked to restart computer. NOW windows trys to start and I
get a System Error message - lsass.exe ( When trying to
update a password, this return status indicates that the
value provided as the current password is not correct.)
The computer shuts down then trys to start windows again,
over and over. I have tried starting in safe mode, tried
booting off the system disk, tried to use the system disk
repair and when prompted for administrator password it's
not accepted. Any ideas before I do a clean install?

Before reinstalling the whole stuff :-), plz try a
password resetter like superutils or some linux
bootfloppies that will reset the pass.
