Can't share a folder?

Hi all,

Why is that that when I log in as a non-privileged domain user I can't share
out a folder? When I right-click on a folder, "Sharing and Security" is not
one of the available menu items. And if I select "Properties" from the
context menu, I have a Security tab, but not a Share tab.

I know it's not a file protection thing, because I explicitly gave my
account full access to the folder I want to share out. I'm guessing it's a
policy of some sort, but I couldn't find it...

TIA - Bob

Only local Power Users or Administrators (or specially configured
accounts) can create shares. Domain Users, as members of the local
Users group only, cannot. This is by design, as a standard security
measure.

or specially confiured accounts...

Thanks Bruce. Is there some way I can grant my non-privileged user the
requisite privlege without adding the account to the Power Users group
(which would grant a whole bunch of privileges I don't want or need)?
