Can't send mail through Outlook Express

All of a sudden, I can't receive mail through Outlook
express but, I can send mail. It worked 2 weeks ago.

I get the error message: The connection to the server has
failed. Account (e-mail address removed), Server:
mail.comcast.net, Protocol: POP3, Port 110, Secure
(SSL):No, Socket Error 10061. Error Number 0x00CCC0E

Any help would be great on deciphering what this means.

Perhaps your ISP has changed the name of the POP3 server that sends mail to
you and your system is still using the old and now obsolete version. They
may also have implemented the requirement for a password to access the email
which was not previously necessary - and so you'd need to change your login
configuration accordingly.

I'd call the ISP. I think it's how you have the email receipt service setup
on your PC - and if it worked before, they probably made a change and you
either missed the notice or weren't informed. That happened to me with
Earthlink.
