Can't send emails with Windows Mail (ntlworld.com)

I get this error message:

An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'test email', Account: 'Windows
Mail', Server: 'smtp.ntlworld.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '421
aamtaout01-winn.ispmail.ntl.com connection refused from [82.24.87.20]', Port:
25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 421, Error Number: 0x800CCC67

I have an ntlworld.com email address and the server is Virgin Media. Can
anyone help me? Thanks.

Switch to Virgin's SMTP server. Replace smtp.ntlworld.com with
smtp.virgin.net.
