Can't send email from websites

I get the message "Windows Live Mail will not send HTTP email ......". I have
upgraded my Hotmail account to be Hotmail Live and still get this error.
Each time the window comes up for my "Display Name" then the Email address
then the error.

How do I correct this? I'm running Vista Home Premium on a Dell Laptop 1505.

Anything easier. I'm not a computer person.

In that case it's not going to be sufficiently easy for me to help you,
I don't want to have to makle ALL the effort to get you up and running,
so just scroll down the page to MSN Hotmail - Email Support
and take it from there.

If that is too much of a struggle take you PC back to the vendor
and politely explain that you are far too stupid to own a computer
and you really should have a refund.

Why is it that people expect something as complex as a computer
should be as easy to operate as a toaster?
Don't schools have the equivalent of a "Drivers Ed" class for
novice computer users?

That is a mystery on a par with their refusal to read instructions
or use the copious help facilities that are built into
operating systems and applications.

And then there are those who type out questions
that could be answered in a flash with one or two keywords
fed into Google or somesuch.

Had to look that up on Google!

Fortunately the next generation are growing up with computers
and, if my 7yo is anything to go by, find them easier to use
than toasters.

If you can't answer in a respectable and reasonable manner, you should not
attempt to 'assist' other users.
