Can't send e-mail in Outlook

Hi,

Am using Office 2003 with Windows XP, and Norton Internet
Security 2004 (NIS) and Norton Systemworks (NSW) 2004. I
am not using the "Scan outgoing e-mail" option in NIS.

When I cue my messages, they remain unsent in the Outbox.
Microsoft advised me to reformat my harddisk and reload
my software. Did that but there is no improvement. My
mail is still stuck.

Can someone please help ? Thanks

A reformat? nonsens. I do have the same problem, I even
installed McAfee to see if any difference. Not.

I tried everything man can imagine. I even did many
testing and evaluating the logfiles of my ISP.

Conclusion: internal problem at my side.

Workaround; Other mail-program.
I did install, for the time being, Netscape.

Problem solved

I will wait for the solution/explanation for outlook, I
curious what the cause and solution will be.

Believe me I have done deep research, looked in knowledge
base, internet searches, spoke to experts etc. no-one can
tell me what is going on. I'm suprised that i see many
people having the same problem.

Have luck.

I had a similar problem and the cause was a corrupted E-
Mail. I had to delete (or copy to another folder) all of
the outgoing E-Mail and try to resend each one until I
found the defective e-Mail.

Could also be in the Inbox! Try it, can't hurt.

Can't be a corrupted e-mail. I tried to send test e-mails
with a totally empty Inbox / Sent box / Contacts folder.
The problem persisted. I suspect a defect in Outlook.

Can anybody help? Thanks
