Can't seem to edit my homepage again after publishing

Hello,
I'm new to using Frontpage and having trouble after publishing my first
homepage. Before publishing, I was able to use the "detail" view to basically
"see" in WYSIWYG format my page. I was able to click and drag and update
fields as needed. I then published the webpage and it looks fine. Now, in
trying to edit the homepage index.htm file, I don't get the same flexibility
in "detail" page. I can only see and edit some of my fields. Most of my
fields are not "viewable" and it is not in a WYSIWIG format. I "preview" and
all the fields are there, but again, "detail" mode they are not showing
and/or editable.
Thanks. Hopeing someone might be able to direct a novice!

Thanks for asking, Steve. Unfortunately I can't as it is on my companies
Intranet site and includes some proprietary information. I hope this doesn't
preclude you from suggesting a fix for me. Thanks.

detail view? I think you mean DESIGN view.

Yes, you are correct. My mistake. DESIGN view is what I mean. Can't seem to
get the look right where I have access to making changes. Any tips you can
provide would be great. Jim

The only reason you would not be seeing your page in design view fully is if you are using absolute positioning (w/ layers) or
malformed html
