Can't see pictures on slide, only in slide pane how do I fix?

I'm working in Powerpoint and can view the pictures in the Slide Pane, but
not on the actual Slide. I can't see the picture in the Normal view and can
only see it once I View Slideshow. How do I fix this? Thanks!
