Can't see forms in design view

Marlita

I am creating forms in design view. I have cut and pasted them onto tabs. I
switch back and forth from design view to form view to check how things look.

Sporadically, I will not be able to see my forms in design view but I can
see it in form view. In design view, there is just be a blank white box
where my form is, but I can still see the tabs. Sometimes I will not be able
to see it in form view but I can see it in form view. Sometimes I can't see
my forms in either view.

Can someone help please

Marlita,

If you cut and pasted into the tabs the objects may not have been inserted
and may be behind the tab control in design view. In design view select the
tab control and delete it. If the objects are on the main form that is the
problem. To paste an object inside of a tab section, click on the tab itself
then right click and paste.

God Bless,

When was the last time you ran Compact & Repair? All that copying and
pasting cause bloat and sometimes Access plays 'magic' tricks on us, just
like you saw.

Hi Sam. Thanks for you reply. I did that when creating the form. I cut and
pasted onto the tabs and I was able to see everything fine in both form and
design view. Then suddenly, I can't see anything in these views even though
I was just looking at it a minute ago in both views.

Then, I'll close the program and open it back up, or I'll leave it alone for
a minute, and then I can see everything again. But its taking too much time
to wait for it to decide to show itself again.

Hi Gina. Thanks. That seemed to work.
