Can't save the changes to my toolbar

I believe this is new behavior.

When I make changes to my toolbar, in Access 2003, and close the DB, the
menubar and toolbars are all reset.

The custom toolbars are saved, and reappear properly when the file is
reopened.

This is only with Access. Word and Excel are fine.

Hi Margaret,

Is this a multiuser Access application? If so, have you split the database,
and given each user their own copy of the front-end database?

Are you using Personalized Menus and Toolbars? If so, perhaps something is
getting whacked out in the Access11.pip file:

If you notice, one of the posts was made on the 7th, and the second on the
11th.

I wasn't sure which group to post to. After waiting a few days, and not
seeing any reponse, I thought perhaps I had posted to the wrong group, or
perhaps I didn't word the question in a clear way.

Which is why I tried again, in a different group.

Had I known that I needed to post in two groups when I put up the first
message, I certainly would have done so.

It does help to get the message out there, though, so people know.

Thank you for your work here.

Margaret,

The reply you show below would have been more appropriately posted as a
follow-up to your original post, in the Install and Configure newsgroup:

http://www.microsoft.com/office/com...nfig&mid=08192ede-5bf8-4d7a-958b-ab809c6f5bc6

For this thread, you should have included a sentence indicating that you
originally posted to the Install and Configure group on Nov. 7, but your
question went unanswered.
Had I known that I needed to post in two groups...
This is generally not necessary.
