Can't Save projects

well I can but it seems I have to exit out and open up at least 10 times
before it will allow me to make or save 1 single change, which makes editing
VERY frustrating.

every time I alter 1 thing it freezes and wont save. I keep trying and about
10 tries later it will go through, but then I have to go through that with
EVERY step I take.

Also when saving the 'final' file onto my computer it wont work, the 'Time
remaining' just increases but never starts saving. Had to shut down the whole
computer and when I restarted several hours later, only then did it work.

ANY help would be appreciated

You fail to mention your OS...if you are

Some users have reported problems
after installing IE7. If this applies to your

I've also seen a report that disabling the
ffdshow codec could be the fix. To accomplish
this...open Movie Maker and go to...Tools /
Options / Compatibility tab...Uncheck...
ffdshow / OK.
