Can't Save JPEG Images in XP

D

Dennis

When I right click on a jpeg omage to save it to my hard
drive, it will only save it as a bitmap. I then I have
to go back and resave the photo as a jpeg in photo
editor. Never had this problem before. When trying to
save the image, the drop down menu only lists bmp as type
of image that can be saved. Have XP Pro installed. Any
insight and help at clearing this up will be greatly
appreciated.

In IE6, click on Tools on the top bar and then Internet options.
A window will open. Click on the Delete files button in the middle of this
window. This will solve the problem.
If you want to prevent this problem to happen again. click on the Advanced
tab at the top of this window. Another window will open. Scroll down in this
window to Security and then check the box "Empty....when closing browser"
