Can't save in DV-AVI (NTSC)

I have not been able to save my video in DV-AVI (NTSC) format but have been
successful in saving it in other formats. My raw video is of HIGH quality
(downloaded at 30 Mb per second) and I want to retain that quality for the
finished product. Is there some kind of setting limiting the size of file to
save to my computer? (the file should be about 6 GB) I have room to store it
and all source files are accounted for.

This is not pertinent if your hard disk drive is formatted as NTFS, it would
be if formatted with FAT32. FAT 32 has a 4 GB file size limit. To check
your format of the drive, double click on My Computer and then right click
on the drive letter. Left click on Properties and look at the File system
information about 1/3 way down the window that opens.

My computer is formatted as NTFS, so what could the problem be?

What happens when you try to save it in DV AVI format?
