can't save data or create new record in my form

Microsoft Access 2003: I created my first form. Everything works just like I
want it too, except when I fill in the first record, I cannot save the data.
I also cannot create a new record. I am sure it is just a little setting I
need to change. Please help.

P.S. I have selected to allow edits, allow filters, allow deletions, and
allow additions.

Is your form based on a query, or on a table? If it's based on a query, is
the query updatable? (Open the query, and try to make changes or additions
to it)
