Can't rename folders in My Documents

L

Lyle

I can't rename any files or folders in the "My Documents"
folder of Windows Explorer. I have administrator
priveliges. The "rename" option when I right click is not
even available, and under the "file" menu the "rename"
option is grayed out. If I move the file or folder to
another location in Explorer, then I can rename it and
move it back to "My Documents".

Any ideas?

Try right clicking on the MY DOCUMENTS folder and then clicking on
Properties....it may be READ ONLY.
