Can't rename folder after opening doc in Word 2007

I'm using Windows Vista and Office 2007, and here's my problem:

When I open a subfolder containing a Word doc, and then open the doc in
Word, edit it, save it, and then close it, I can't rename the subfolder (or
delete the subfolder) that contains that doc. I get a message that the action
can't be completed because the folder is open in another program. The folder
is NOT open; in fact no other folder is open, and the only app running is
Outlook.

Any ideas? This one has all of us here stumped!

I can't read the reply here by Cindy M. -- what's going on?

I'm still having this problem; if anyone's got any ideas why, please share!

Some times closing Outlook fixes the problem, but I've also noticed that an
Adobe service "acrotray.exe" is still "holding on" to the file. I have to use
Task Manager to end that service.

And yes, restarting the computer fixes the problem every time. But I
certainly don't want to have to do that each time I want to rename a folder
(nor do I want to have to close Outlook and end the acrotray.exe service).

Is this a Vista issue?

Thanks!
