Can't remove NWLink IPX/SPX

Windows server 2003. I've gotten the "blue screen of death" recently upon
bootup and discovered that it is related to the IPX/SPX stack bound to the
NIC. I don't need this protocol at all and I'm trying to uninstall it. When I
do however I get the following message:

You must disconnect all Dial-Up, VPN, and Incoming connections before this
component can be removed.

I have no VPN, Dial-Up, Terminal Services, etc on this server. No users have
any open files. I went so far as to totally disable the NIC and it still
gives me the same error. Anybody have a suggestion? I'm a little afraid to
reboot at this point for fear that it won't come back up.
