Can't remove activesync

Hey Folks,

I get a "fatal error" while trying to update, reinstall, delete, or repair
activesync. I am able to remove other programs via "add remove programs", but
not activesync.

It's run for months. Today I went to sync my phone with outlook, but
activesync wouldn't open; I got an error. To upgrade, it wants to remove the
old program, but the upgrade quits on a fatal error as well.

I really need this thing running.

Can someone please help.
