Can't print report - too many tables open?

Hello. I have a report with 10 sub reports on it, and I
am unable to print it. I get the error message "Can't
open any more tables". Is this because of my volume of
sub reports and how can I correct this. I'm running
Access 97.

I just noticed that my subreports somehow are in

multiples on the main report. I went to move a subreport
and there were six of the same subreport stacked on top of
each other. Removing all but one lets me print, but why
did that happen?
