Can't print from IE-6 or Outlook Express, application locks up.

Bill

I have an HP OfficeJet K80 printer and I cannot print to
it from either IE-6 or Outlook Express. IE-6 locks up and
must be shutdown whenever I attempt to print or execute a
Page Setup. I am using Windows 2000 and can print from
all other applications. The printer is USB attached.

Any suggestions?

Quoted from a previous post.

I had a problem not being able to print from either I.E. or Outlook Express,
and if I tried to use Page Setup, I.E. would hang.

The version info in the Help/About was completely gone. I got paid help from
Microsoft,
and the following steps fixed the problem.

First, using Internet Options, delete all cookies, temp files and objects.
This might
fix it for some people.

In my case, I also had to use regsvr32 from the start/run command to
re-register vbscript.dll and jscript.dll.

At the Start/Run applet execute these commands
regsvr32 vbscript.dll
regsvr32 jscript.dll

Then, thank god, everything worked. A frustrated I.E. 6 users.
