Can't play CD-RW/CD-R's in CD-ROM

Having trouble playing the above in different computers with CD-ROM's.
Educational institution, faculty come in auditorium with there burned CD's
and have trouble playing them in CD-ROM's. New computers 1yr old. Not just
one computer but a few have the same problem. Any solutions????

Did you finalize the CD? Read the help instructions that came with the CD
software. A lot of older players will not play the CD without it. Or if
you did the InCD, DirectCD type of burn then you have to have
easywritereader for InCd and udfreader for DirectCD in order to read them in
a system without the programs installed.
