Can't open port 443?

I'm setting up VNC with a secure connection, but port 443 is already in use.
I verified this by running the Advanced Port scanner from www.radmin.com.
The firewall is disabled so I know that's not causing it. Everything has
been taken out of the startup group and I don't have a 3rd party firewall so
that's not an issue.
How can I open this port or atleast find out what's using it?
Carlton.

Run Active Ports, that will show you. Normally this will be grabbed by a web
server (eg. IIS, Apache) for use with SSL connections. Personally I'd run
VNC on a different port, just pick a high port number that's free and use
that.

Dan,
I installed Active Ports, but it didn't list 443. I wish that I could use
something other then 443, but this version SCIII only works on 443 with the
repeater for outside access.
The repeater is still telling me that the port is being used as well as
radmin.
Any ideas on what's causing this?
thanks,
Carlton.

If you do a netstat -ab it will show you what ports are listening and what
program is initiating the listening

Thanks for the info.
I had two different versions of VNC repeater running at the same time.
(time to go home)
