Hello there

I've tried some searching on various sites and groups and cannot find the
answer to this question.

All of the sudden tonight when I open a browser window, the current one
immediately closes without an error message. This includes clicking links
on a web page that would open new browser windows.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Please reply to the group and myself

Well myself and a friend did some research. After checking some groups on
google we found this:

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

and it worked!

Hi,
Most browser extensions are safe and helpful. You should look for the
specific toolbar, BHO, add-on, etc that's causing the problem so that you
can re-enable browser extensions.

The Yahoo toolbar causes this problem for many users. Try uninstalling it.

Hope this helps,
Don

I don't use Yahoo toolbar. I hate all those add ons. I just have some hot
buttons up there for some programs but that is it.

Thanks don.
