Can't open jpg file

I am not able to open some emailed jpf files. The messages comes up "the file
does not have a program associated with it for performing this aciton. Create
an association in the folder control panel." I cannot find this option in the
control panel. Can anyone help me?

Control Panel >Folder Options>File Types. Click on the file type (jpg).
Click on change and choose from the list, the program to open the file.

I tried this and I still can't open the files. There was only one choice and
when I changed it to that choice I still couldn't open the file. Any other
ideas?

I appreciate your help. I downloaded the JPG association fix and now I get
the following error message: This action is only valid for products that are
currently installed. I still can't open the file. This is a new computer
with Windows Media Center installed on it. Any other suggetions?
