can't NET SEND

Hello,

After installing XP SP2 I can't send NET SEND messages to the SP2 computer.
Not even when logged to that pc and tryin to net send to localhostname. XP
firewall is disabled.
Any solutions?

Do you get any errors when sending messages from the SP2 machine? Any
errors when sending to the SP2 machine? Have you verified the messenger
service is started on the machine?

It does, thus my reason for asking to verify that the service is started.
