Can't move or back up to CD burner or DVD drive

Have a problem since I downloaded XP SP-2.

Although I can open either drive by itself, I cannot move single files to
the CDs and certainly can't back up Quicken and other programs to CDs.

When I bring up a program and click on File>Send To, the drives are missing
(in my case, my E and F drives) from the list.

Could anyone help, please?

You need to run special software to allow CDs or DVDs to act like
floppies or hard drives. What software came with your CD/DVD dburner?
If you had this software before SP2, and it worked, then you may need
an XP2 upgrade of it.
