can't log onto incoming server

Hi I'm desperate to fix my outlook i continually get an error message when
send/receive the weird thing is it was working just fine one night, then the
next morning this...
"Receive Report Error - Outlook is not able to connect to your POP3 incoming
server"
I have 3 different e-mail accounts that I check from this program. All of
them are routed through the my primary account so the outgoing is the same
for all three.
I have checked that my server requires authentication. I keep testing the
account and get the same message. I have Norton and the e-mail "scaning" is
turned off.

I am having the exact problem - began about 3 days ago! I get an error
message from my ISP, Receiving reported error 0X8002410A, the operation timed
out waiting for a response from the POP server. I've checked all the settings
and reset them several times, all is ok. Instead of promptly downloading
messages, Outlook says it is receiving and synchronizing, but just hangs.
PLEASE SOMEBODY, HELP!! Many thanks.
