Cant log on.

We have a little used Win2k Terminal Server here, but now we need to
start using it a bit more. I have come to log on to it today only to find
that my connection was refused.

We have one terminal server and a seperate terminal licensing server. The
Terminal Server has one event log error appear when someone tries to logon,
but the Terminal Server Licensing server doesnt have anything appear in the
event log.

Event Type: Information
Event Source: TermService
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1004
Date: 12/12/2003
Time: 15:31:54
User: N/A
Computer: TERM_SERVER
Description:
The terminal server cannot issue a client license.

I have removed Terminal services till im blue in the face, ive tried
specifying the licensing server as the default for the TS server, but
nothing makes a difference.

Any ideas ?

Olly

What OS are you running on the client? If it's not W2K Pro or XP
Pro, do you have a free TS CAL for that client on the LS?
