The other users probably logged on before when things were working right and
are being authenticated by cached credentials. Anything in the event log?
Can you ping the DC? Is the DC working okay? Are you talking about 120
users on 1 computer or 120 different computers? DNS setup right? Any
networking issues?

Correct. But one also logged on before and can't now.
Anything in the event log?

On every windows ther is thousands of things in eventlog
and not even 1/10 of them have an explanation. There is
over 69000 things on 3 days on server. Things like this:
"Failed to create a desktop due to desktop heap
exhaustion" or "The time service has not synchronized the
system time for 86400 seconds...." and i don't know what
to look for. There is too many things in log to make it
readable or useable
Can you ping the DC?

Yes and when logging in, i can access everything on it.
Is the DC working okay?

It is 2003 and other users use it from XP and 2000.
Are you talking about 120 users on 1 computer
or 120 different computers?

120 users on 40 computers.
DNS setup right?

Unknown. It works too much, otherwise it works.
Any networking issues?

Not more than this
