Can't install/uninstall - "Hardware installation wizard is open"

Hi,

I'm trying to reinstall the Nokia PC Suite
(Nokia_PC_Suite_68_rel_22_eng_web.msi) and when it tries to install the
"Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver" I get a dialog box with the following
text:

"Hardware installtion wizard is open. You must close (cancel) the
wizard before continuing. Click OK after closing the wizard, or click
Cancel to cancel this installation."

I've tried to run the uninstaller and get the same message. I've used
the Nokia PC Suite Cleaner (Nokia_PC_Suite_Cleaner_3_3) several times,
Run Registry First Aid, CCleaner and XP Tools all several times with
several reboots and still get this message.

Is there a bit set somewhere that I can somehow unset to tell it that
the wizard is not really running?

I've had problems with installing Nokia PC Suite for an N70. I found that
downloading the cable driver first, then downloading the apropriate PC Suite
and pluging it directly into the USB (NOT A HUB) did the trick.

If you have to UNinstall PC Suite, download the Nokia PC Suite cleaner from
http://europe.nokia.com/A4144912

I use Microsoft XP Pro
