Can't Install SQL Server 2000 On Windows XP Professional!!

Dear :
I have Windows XP Professional , I'm trying to install MS SQL Server 2000
the setup completed but when the installer begin registering ActiveX
Components this message appears :
Setup is registering ActiveX Components

Personal Edition : _INS5576._MP -Application Error

This Instruction at "0x7c919925" referenced memory at "0x94ce8b15" . The
memory could be read

Click OK to terminate the program
Click CANCEL to debug the program


i installed SP2 and with same results. the take the same copy and installed
it on Windows Me/98 and successfully installed without any problems.
where is the problem ?

SQL Server is use for Windows Server, can't install on WinXP.
