Can't insert a .WMV file to play in Power Point 2000?

I am having problems of inserting a Windows Media File (.wmv) File into Power
Point 2000.
I get a error saying its not supported or quick time is not installed
coorectly?

The file of types does not list a .wmv file in the insert movie from file box.

Any help would be great.

Try this goto tools,customize,visual basic, click to the icon with the hammer.
You will see control toolbox click the hammer again . . . . and browse down
look for Quick Time Object place it inside the slide select it right click
goto properties insert your wmv if it will play. Hope this one works.
