Can't get rid of Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete

Is there a reg key I can change to get rid of the please press
Ctrl+Alt+Delete to login. I went into the advanced tab of the user accounts
in the control panel. That check box is un-checked yet the please press
Ctrl+Alt+Delete still shows up.

There are no policies in effect unless XP comes pre-loaded with a policies
in effect. I loaded them set them up but when I go into the advanced tab
and un-check the box in the advanced tab, and reboot the Ctl+Alt+Delete
screen still pops up.

Are you on a domain or anything of the sort?

Yes but I do not have any policies set, on either the server nt4 or on any
XP pro workstations. I have even looked to see if there is a policy I could
add to remove the ctrl-alt-delete to login screen.

Jeremy,

Have you tried start>run>"control userpasswords2"? That utility has an
option to uncheck "user must use ctrl-alt-del to logon"

Then in that case, that box would appear if the computers are joined to
a domain, or forced by policy either in the local security policy or
active directory group policy. Just a thought, for an excercise, unplug
the network cable from one of the workstations and try logging on with
it. It may be trying to find the domain controller and prompt you for
access to the network, and if that was disconnected before you bootup,
it should revert to logging on locally using whatever setting it was
supposed to use.
Yes and that box is unchecked but the ctrl-alt-del still appears at logon.

How many times am I going to have to repeat myself. THERE ARE NO ****ING
POLICIES!!! THE BOX IS UNCHECKED IN THE ADVANCED TAB. I want to know if
there a reg key I can check or change that is not being changed correctly by
the advanced tab in the User Accounts control panel. If you don't know the
answer please do not reply. I'm not even using active directory. They are
XP boxes connected to a NT4 domain. They don't even authenticate to the NT4
server, only reason they get added is allow me to add domain administrators
to the local machines so admins can do some remote administration on them.

If you are connected to a domain the ctrl+alt+del will be forced automatically for security. There is no way to get around it if you are connected to a domain.
