Can't get on Internet in normal mode, Ok in safe mode XP PRO

[Enduser of MS Anti-Spware]

Since I loaded MS anti spyware, I cannot get on the
Internet in normal mode. I can ping yahoo.com which means
I'm getting connectivity from my ISP I tried un-installing
the MS anti-spyware and still cannot get on the Internet
in normal mode in XP PRO
