Can't get into safe mode

This is the last affect of a virus that was in my PC !!! All other issuee
seems to be solved !!

Comments:
* I do get into the menu (F8 on restart) but the Safe Mode selection end up
in a Normal Mode.
* I do know the option to get into Safe Mode with msconfig. No problem with
that.

If your virus was a Trojan, there are still open issues caused by down-
loaded extra software creating backdoors. This is especially true when
the malware was installed with your administrative(!) privileges. You may
want to read this article rather than wasting even more time with patchwork.

Had same problem, my system works with F5 i/o F8. No harm in trying!
