Can't get design themes to apply in ppt 2007

Hello- I had design themes working in PPT2007 fine until I uninstalled it and
started over. Now I get the error msg. "microsoft office\document
themes12\Apex flow.thmx" was not applieed. It may not be a power point
presentation.

I have reinstalled the 2007 version and the refresh update twice, and still
no luck.

We can't seem to get 2007 to open any of the saved presentations either.
Whatever the form they get an error Powerpoint cant readC:\Documents and
settings\ Mike\Desktop\test1.ppt

thanks in advance- Eye reader

Check the "file not found/file not available" section on B2TR issues on
my website. I think you are running into a bug B2TR has with NAV.

Is this a theme that you created or modified and resaved yourself?
If so, the problem might be that B2/Refresh seems to have problems reading at
least some files saved by earlier betas.

Thanks Steve - for your interest- No to the question is this a theme I made up. I was using the built in themes at the top of the menu bar. Also- If I make a brand new presentation in 2007, no matter how I save it, I close it and then cant get it to open.

Hello Everyone- I worte of a problem with getting powerpoint 2007 to work
with saving and opening files AND applying the pre-installed themes-

Patrick Schmid suggested it may be Norton anti-virus as the culprit. He's
RIGHT and thanks patrick.

I spent hours unstalling and then re-installing this stuff. Here is the
point: Norton must be COMPLETLY UNSTALLED. I tried shutting off some and then
most of the program and it STILL would not let powerpoint work.

PLEASE save yourself time and DO NOT USE NORTON:
I used AVG anti-virus and now ALL THE PROBLEMS I HAD ARE FIXED! powerpoint
works perfectly!!!!!!!!!!

Known issue with B2TR. Microsoft realized that there was a bug that
prevented NAV from working after they made it available to everyone.
