Can't Follow Hyperlink in Outlook 2007 Message

Hi,

I'm unable to follow hyoerlinks in Outlook2007 e-mail messages. When I click
on a hyperlink, I get and error:
"This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on your
computer. Please contact your system admiistrator".

I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium on a single-user PC, so I guess that
makes me the SysAdmin, but I heven't a clue of what restriction there might
be. This problem has just popped up and I have no idea what I may have done
to cause it.

Thanks

Hi cwnidog,

The error message is misleading in this case, as this is a file/protocol association problem. Follow these steps:

Click Start, Default Programs and click "Set program access and computer defaults". Click "Custom", select "Internet Explorer" and click OK. Close and re-open Microsoft Outlook.

Hi Myweb,

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm afraid that didn't help.

I have the same problem but that fix didn't work. What else can I do?

Thank you,
