Can't find the homepage

The actual file name for the home page is index.html, not index.htm

Sorry. That was my attempt at a fix. I've re-set it to the "right"
way. Now, www.delawarecountyhistoricalsociety.org works. But,
www.delawarecountyhistoricalsociety.org/index.htm does not.

That's because when you published the web, FrontPage checked with the server to determine
the correct default file name.
In this case it needed to be index.html so it was automatically renamed when published.
Try it

http://www.delawarecountyhistoricalsociety.org/index.html

Also to prevent future problems, open your local copy of FrontPage and rename index.htm to
index.html and let FrontPage update hyperlinks when prompted.
Then republish the entire web.

Also, you don't need an absolute link to the homepage.
All you need is a relative link just like the rest of the links in your navigation.
