Hello,
I can't find my user's archive.pst file.
#1. According to Tools... Options... Other tab...
AutoArchive, the old items are moved to c:\documents and
settings\username.DOMAIN\local settings\application
data\microsoft\outlook\archive.pst.
#2. Also, according to the Properties... AutoArchive tab
for the individual folders in the Folders List, the old
items are moved to c:\documents and
settings\username\local settings\application
data\microsoft\outlook\archive.pst.
I did a manual archive for the Inbox and all subfolders,
and the archived Inbox did appear in the Archive Folders
in the Folders List. The Archive Folders list also
contained the Deleted and Sent Items folders that was
previously archived by my predecessor.
The problem is that the Local Settings folder does not
exist for #1 or #2. A search for *.pst on the local c: and
d: has no results.
Does anyone know why I can't find the archive.pst file,
and yet there are archived items in the Archive Folders?
Is there any way I can fix this mess?
Thank you for your help,
Millie
