Cant figure out how to print contacts in a booklet form

K

Kwlarm

In Outlook I was able to print my contacts in a variety of ways--ie memo,
small booklet, medium booklet, only phone numbers etc,.,, now I can only
print them individually. I need to be able to print all of my contacts with
the phone, address, email birthdays, anniversaries, and any notes input. My
last written back up was from 2005 and is pretty trashed. Please help--

If you select Print from the File menu in Contacts, it gives you a
choice of three print options.

When I am in my main contacts page--there is not a print tab under File there
is not a print option.....I have from the file drop down--only new and close
that are black(usable) they greyed out are Create shortcut, delete, rename,
and Properties...so there is not a print section to select from

I found that I had to highlight at least one contact before the "print" icon showed on the tool bar.
That may be what Kwlarm was missing.

Another tip is to export the contact list as a CVS file and import it into a spreadsheet program.
Then from the spreadsheet program you can print a nice neat list.

If you select Print from the File menu in Contacts, it gives you a
choice of three print options.

Even when I highlight all of my contacts I still do not get a print option--I
wouldn't mind exporting it, but it will take time to format it all to get it
to print like a booklet and I like to print it fairly often with moves and
updates--any more thoughts??

Two ways: With Contacts opened, click the Alt key. This should bring up
the File menu bar. Go to File, Print.

Or, at the far right of the toolbar there is a double arrow you can click on
for additional commands.

I've tried that but I still can't print the entire info like before the phone
list is just that--phone numbers--the business card is one per page and the
memo is not a booklet style--I'm really frustrated--is there a way to conver
v files to an address book template etc--I really need all the info that is
in my contacts--would hate to have to retype everything--When I try to export
data to excel it just takes names, address phone and notes, but not
birthdays anniversaries etc...not sure where to go from here--

Thanks for all you advice so far--kwlrm

Sorry, I don't know of any workarounds. The CSV export process
does not include birthdays.
