Can't edit email address in phone list view.

Dear Support,

In Outlook 2003, I added the email field from the field chooser when using
the phone list view and I can't edit the cell under the email column. Can
someone please tell me if there's anyway to bypass this without having to
open the address card everytime to enter the email address?

If you've allowed in cell editing and it doesn't work, then probably not.
