Can't download PDF files

John Swanson

I used to be able to download PDF files in both NS 7.1 and IE 6.0. Now
I can't. I have XP Pro and Acrobat Reader 5 (I can read PDFs ok).
There is no error message. NS shows the page is done, but it's empty.
IE gives a broken graphic symbol. Something has obviously changed.
What should I look for, please?

Try downloading and reinstalling Acrobat Reader. Hopefully that will repair
the Acrobat Reader's ability to act as a plug in for the respective web
browsers.
