Can't Disable Startup Items in Defender

I've been a big fan of controlling my Startup Items in Windows Defender (as
opposed to MSConfig) since I found out about the "Software Explorer" feature
in the tools menu. What's strange with Vista though is that the option to
Disable/Remove most of the startup items is grayed out, even when run as
Administrator!

How can I fix this?

I noticed that the links in Software Explorer are owned by SYSTEM, but
changing the owner to my User Profile didn't seem to give me any more
options. As a side note, the Administrators group has full control.

Hah, figured it out! I couldn't disable some items because they were set to
All Users startup, not just my profile. To get Disable/Remove functionality
I had to click "Show for all Users".
