Can't disable sound

I can't disable sound when e-mail arrive. I've already unchecked the option
"When new items arrive in my bok -> play a sound" (Tools/Options/E-mail
options/Advanced e-mail options) but the sound "You've got mail!" still plays.

Windows XP SP2
Outlook 2003
Office without sp2

That is not caused by Outlook but by an add-in you have installed. IIRC
Toshiba laptops come with this application by default.
