Cant delete

I have vista home premium.I deleted a file to the recycle bin,but the file
will not delete from the recycle bin.The file is a video clip file.
(dvdscr.xvid-dvl).How do I now delete it from the recycle bin.It goes so far
and wont finish .Now when I open the recycle bin it tries to finish
deleting,but never does.
HELP.

Have you tried restoring it then moving it to some easy place then
deleting it by command line or some such [other than through the recycle
bin]?

Try deleting the file in Safe Mode. Do this by repeatedly tapping the F8
key as the computer is starting up. This will get you to the right menu.
Navigate using your Up arrow key; the mouse will not work here.

You might also try the Disk Cleanup procedure and make sure it's set up to
delete files from the recycle bin.

If you restore it, then you can SHIFT-DEL it to bypass the recycle bin.
Just remember that if you do it this way, it's gone..no easy (and I say
easy because no file is truly deleted until the space it occupied is
nulled out) way to get it back.
