I can't delete any messages in outlook. This just suddenly started happening
today - out of the blue.

Running Win2K and Office 2000.

I checked my version number . I thought was up to SP2. Under Help->About
Microsoft Outlook it says SR-1 so I downloaded and installed SR-2. It still
says the version is SR-1 (9.0.0.4527) and the problem still exists.

The specific error message is:
The messaging interface has retirned an unknown error. If the problem
persiste, restart Outlook"

Help would be greatly appreciated.
