Can't delete a user account

I want to delete a user account. I elect to delete the
account, select delete files, then delete account. The
window hangs. When I click on window again, it says not
responding. I close the window and get error dialog that
says MSHTA.EXE is not responding. I select end now, and
get the submit error report to Microsoft. I cannot find
any references within the support and troubleshooting
pages which addresses this. Any ideas on how I can
delete this user account?

There could be a virus causing this issue. If you have anti virus software, make sure it is up to date and run a full system scan. Also, you may want to download, install and run Ad Aware.
