Can't Contact LDAP Directory Server (81)

Hi,

I have a user who has outlook running on a Windows 2000
machine. She has several people stored in her Contacts
database. She is having problems though sending people
in her contacts database e-mails though. When you select
a contact then select New then Mail Message a new mail
message screen comes up. However, the "To" box is
empty. When you click on the "To" button, you get a
message that says "Can't Contact LDAP Directory Server
(81)".

Any ideas on what to do?

Thanks,

Chuck

Remove the LDAP (Active Directory) address book provider. If Outlook
2002/2003, the option is Tools | Email Accounts | View/Change existing
address books (4th radio button). While you are there, make sure that the
Outlook Address Book service is listed since it is responsible for rendering
contact folders as address books.
