can't connect win 2000 machine to win xp home machine

I have a new Dell machine at home with Win xp home edition. I have another XP
machine and a Win 2000 machine on the network. My XP machines can attach to
the other machines to share files and printing. But my Win 2000 machine can't
connect to my Win XP machines. The fire walls on the XP machine was disabled
but this did not correct the problem.

Make identical user accounts/passwords on the Windows 2000 computer that
match those on the XP machines. Share out desired resources and make
sure the permissions are the way you want them.
